SAN FRANCISCO, September 1, 2015 — Prosper Marketplace, which operates a leading online marketplace for consumer credit, today announced the appointment of Parker Barrile as Chief Product Officer. Barrile will be responsible for expanding Prosper Marketplace’s product and user experience teams and managing Prosper Marketplace’s expanding product suite across web and mobile platforms.

Barrile joins Prosper Marketplace from LinkedIn, where he was vice president of product management and led teams for several of the company’s core monetization products including Talent Solutions, Premium Subscriptions and the Payments Platform. During his five years at LinkedIn, Barrile was instrumental in building consumer and enterprise products that today generate more than $1 billion in annual revenue.
